“She understands it’s not really me. She knows I’m pretending. But I can’t deny it’s not a kick for her and her friends. They enjoy it when I do the voice and chase them around pretending to be Batman. And I enjoy it too.” —

How did you make the always anchored canvas painting? I'm trying to do it myself but wasn't sure if I should paint the entire canvas one colour then paint the anchor and infinity on top of the solid background ? Or, should I paint the anchor and infinity and then paint around it for the background?

hey! okay so the way i did it (which i guess is the way i would recommend) is i sketched the design with a pencil (it was harder than i thought it would be and took some practice) then i painted the background (the blue took a lot of coats to look good—i wish i had primed my canvas especially since their stretched canvasses but oh well) then i painted the anchor (i used a sharpie paint pen in gold and it worked like a dream) then i free handed the rest of the infinity with paint and a small brush (i tried using a sharpie paint pen for this too, but it bled when it came in contact with the blue paint—it was shockingly easy with the paintbrush though! hopefully that helps!
